Deleting your data
Last updated: July 20, 2026 · Contact: [email protected]
You can delete your Mutuall account and the Instagram-derived data we hold at any time, in any of three ways. For the full picture of what we store and for how long, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Delete it yourself (fastest)
Sign in and go to You → Delete my data. This anonymizes your account in place: your email is scrubbed, your Instagram connection and its encrypted access token are removed, and your campaign and token history is detached from your identity. Files you upload are deleted when each campaign wraps. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Deletion also instructs bundle.social — our authorized Meta Tech Provider for Instagram connections (see the Privacy Policy) — to remove the imported posts and analytics they hold and to disconnect the account on their side. Disconnecting your Instagram account on its own triggers the same removal for that connection.
2. Remove Mutuall from Instagram
In the Instagram app, open your account settings for connected apps and remove Mutuall. Instagram notifies us through Meta's deauthorize callback, and we immediately revoke our access and purge the stored access token for that connection.
3. Request deletion through Meta
If you request data deletion through Meta, their data-deletion callback triggers a purge of your Instagram-derived data on our side. We return a confirmation code and a status page where you can verify that the deletion completed.
One thing we cannot delete
A post you already published lives on your own Instagram account, not ours — we never post anything and we cannot remove anything from your account. If you want a published post taken down, delete it in Instagram yourself.
